If you are a defendant in a criminal case, you have a right to have the prosecutor prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt. This requires all elements to be clearly established; a failure to do so will result in a jury trial acquittal. Long before a jury trial occurs, the presentation of motions to suppress evidence based on procedural or constitutional violations will generally result in offers of reduction or even dismissal by the prosecutor. Negotiation may result in a settlement that will minimize the damage a criminal charge could do to your career, liberty and finances and would be both acceptable to you and the State. On the other hand, if we need a jury trial to establish that the prosecutor cannot meet their high burden of proof, we are prepared to cogently argue your case before a jury of your peers.

Our law team has handled several hundred criminal charges of DUI (or DWI), Hit and Run Attended/Unattended, Negligent Driving, Reckless Driving, Patronizing, Assault, Harassment, Disorderly Conduct, Possession of Marijuana, Indecent Liberties/Exposure and other cases. From factual defenses (bogus or deficient police reports) to legal defenses (constitutionally overbroad statutes), arguments have been made that have gotten clients the results they need and deserve.
